Talcum Powder/Ovarian Cancer

The Talcum Powder/Ovarian Cancer Litigation Group focuses on the ongoing litigation regarding the dangers of talcum-based powders such as Johnson’s Baby Powder and Shower to Shower. Scientific literature shows a link between genital dusting of talcum-based powders for feminine hygiene and an increased risk of ovarian cancer. Litigation is in progress in multiple jurisdictions against the following defendants: Johnson & Johnson; Johnson & Johnson Consumer Companies, Inc.; lmerys Talc America, Inc. f/k/a Luzenac America, Inc.; and Personal Care Products Council f/k/a Cosmetic, Toiletry, and Fragrance Association (CTFA).

The Talcum Powder/Ovarian Cancer Litigation Group helps members work in unison and helps to coordinate efforts so as to avoid any potential issues created by inadvisable filings and subsequent damaging rulings which could weaken the overall strength of the litigation and harm the interests of all clients across the country. The Litigation Group keeps members abreast of all significant developments and coordinates efforts across the country so as to keep the litigation on the right path and maximize the potential benefits for all clients involved.

The Talcum Powder/Ovarian Cancer Litigation Group is sponsored by EisnerAmper and LitPRO.
