Suboxone Film Litigation Group

Suboxone Film is an oral dissolvable medicine developed as a treatment for opioid addiction. Unfortunately, the film can cause dental erosion and decay—a danger the manufacturers did not warn users about for 10 years. The group assist AAJ members to navigate the newly formed MDL ad hold manufacturers accountable for their negligent failure to warn.

 

Group History:

The Suboxone Film Litigation Group was formed at AAJ’s 2024 Winter Convention. The group provides members with a list server, document library, and other resources such as draft Complaints, intake criteria, expert information, legal research, and discovery. This Litigation Group meets at AAJ Annual and Winter Conventions, or as needed by group members.

 

Membership:

Suboxone Film Litigation Group is limited to Regular, Sustaining, Life, and President's Club members.

 

Dues

The Suboxone Film Litigation Group is complimentary to members of the AAJ Pharmaceutical and Medical Device Section who can agree to the terms and conditions of membership in the Litigation Group’s Affidavit.
