The Motorcycle and Bicycle Litigation Group will be involved with both on-road and off-road motorcycles and include product liability defect issues and rider issues. The Group will also focus on various product recalls involving carburetors, cables, throttles, brakes, wheels, and other parts.
The Group was started in July 2008 in response to a major increase in the number of motorcycle deaths and injuries, and the resulting litigation.
The Group will have a list server, document library, list of experts, and various pleadings and discovery related to motorcycle litigation.
- Meetings: The group will meet at the Annual and Winter Conventions.
- Membership: Membership will be open to AAJ members who represent victims of motorcycle-involved accidents.
- Dues: The Litigation Group is complementary to members of the AAJ Motor Vehicle Section who can agree to the terms and conditions of membership in the Litigation Group's Affidavit. If you are not yet a member, you can join the Motor Vehicle Section here.
