AAJ Governance Documents
The AAJ membership voted to amend the AAJ Bylaws at its 2023 meeting in Philadelphia. The changes were to Article XII relating to AAJ Sections. Criminal Law and Family Law Sections had been removed and converted to forums. Also, the Motor Vehicle Collision, Highway and Premises Liability Section was split into two separate sections: Motor Vehicle Section and Premises Liability Section. There were also changes to the leadership positions of the Section Leaders Council.

ATTENTION VOTING MEMBERS of the American Association for Justice Notice is hereby provided that the Annual Membership Business and Elections Meeting (“Business Meeting”) will be held at the AAJ 2023 Annual Convention in Philadelphia, PA. The Business Meeting will take place on Sunday, July 16, 2023, and will begin at 5:15 pm Eastern Time.
