The Acetaminophen ASD/ADHD Litigation Group assists members investigating and litigating cases where children developed autism spectrum disorder (ASD) and/or attention-deficit/hyperactivity disorder (ADHD) because of a mother’s prenatal use of acetaminophen. Manufacturers of acetaminophen have failed to include any warning to pregnant women about these risks and have marketed acetaminophen as safe for pregnant women, despite the growing connection between prenatal exposure to acetaminophen and neurodevelopmental injuries in children. Members collaborate and strategize on how to best litigate these cases and recover for injured clients.
